Project 6 : Amphitheater Stage

So,this is the sixth project for us.We were arrange into a group of 15 or 16 and different studio master for each different group.This is a big project for us to let us practise to be a professional.This project is about building an amphitheater stage.We will have to do a report to show all the information about our amphitheater stage project 6a),draw out our amphitheater stage(project 6b).Of course,we need to build out the whole amphitheater stage with the scale of 1:5(project 6c).

In project 6a, I as a student of quantity survey,have to produce some costing report,like estimating cost report and costing report of the materials of our model.

This is the drawing of our amphitheater stage.The concept of our idea is base on wave of sea.In this drawing,we can know some detail of our amphitheater stage,for example,the main design,the cross section of the stage,the location plan and etc.

Finally, we are going to start our BIG project.  We need to construct the model that we designed before.It's not an easy job as it takes a lot of time and effort.  Beside that, this project cost us a lot of money $$$...T.T...I am a QS student, so I take care of those financial stuff,especially buying the materials.  So I have to try my best to save the cost, so that each member in our group could pay less.Our group leader and assistant - Redha and Mandy arrange the work for us to make sure that everyone of us have our own duty .So, we manage to done this project faster than some of other group. Alright, I can't wait to show our final product hahaha. 

This is it ,my biggest project in the first semester.  I felt soooooo excited after done this big creature. I also gain a new experience when I did this with my group member in various major and without any conflict.  we cooperate well and happily. 

Project 5 :

The next project require us to visit the site that we choose among some choices from our studio master .i have decided to choose a site named SIARA 81 that located at Sungai Ara .Below are some pictures about SIARA 81 .

So ,this project also consist of 2 parts .Let me talk about first part first .We require to draw 3 plan in this part,that is SITE PLAN,LOCATION PLAN AND KEY PLAN .Besides that ,we need to highlight some part of this area ,like below :

We also need to show the direction of wind and the location of the Sun(east and west). 

The second part is some drawing about the things that still need to be improved.Some infrastructure in this area still need to be improved to ensure safety of resident.So,this is some of my opinion about how to improve the quality of this residential area. 

     Project 4: Presentation Drawing

After some building stuff ,we come back to drawing again . However ,the drawing this time must according to scale which is different from previous project.This time , I have to draw the sofa that I made with my group .

This paper consist of PLAN VIEW, FRONT, REAR ,LEFT AND RIGHT ELEVATION .

This was draw according to scale of 1:20 .

Second paper of this project is perspective and axonometric drawing.The above drawing is perspective drawing while below one is axonometric drawing ,. Perspective drawing no need to follow scale ,but axonometric drawing need that. However, perspective drawing require human figure to show the proportion of the sofa .

Project 3b: Object Connection - a COMFORTABLE chair

Finally enter some work with a group.The next project was done by a group of 3,and my team members is named Heng Hui Yan and Hung Boon Sing .We are called to produce a COMFORTABLE SOFA with fixed scale.Although the sofa made by my group is very normal and common with not more special specification,but it's sure comfortable when sit on there .

So, this is our sofa that form from only 2 harmony colours .It's fun to have my work with my team members as this is a experience that we need in future .

Project 1 : Me,Myself and I

This is my every first studio assignment in my university life,and i was shock by this assignment because of the requirement. Okay,let me introduce the first assignment from me.I have to draw my face in this assignment . @.@ what a hard work for me . I have to get some help from my friend that have basic of drawing,and finally I managed to produce the drawing .

Besides that,I have to write something about myself and what will I be in next five years .So i started to think about the question , what can i do in the next five years? O.o ...I'm also feel curious about that.

Alright,let's look on the second part of this assignment,that is create a logo for myself.This was not a easy job for me too as I have not much of creativity . So as you can see,my logo is just a simple design.However, there is still contain some meaning inside .

 As you can see,it's like a alphabet G inside the circle.That is the first alphabet of my surname and also my name. 'NOW OR NEVER' ...and this is my tagline.

Project 3a: Free-Form Sculpture

The next project is to build our own sculpture. This is another task that I never face before.

This is some materials that i used to build my sculpture ,such as mounting board,old newspaper,cotton,cutter,water colour,UHU gum,lantern paper and colour paper.

My sculpture is based on the concept of water. I hope all of you can realize this item is a water droplet.I used colour paper to cover the old newspaper and make it to become the shape like water droplet.

Finally , this is my sculpture . The cotton above the sculpture is represent cloud . My water droplet is located middle of this sculpture to emphasize that we must save and conserve water .

Project 2:Natural structure & Man-made structure 

This is the bus stop around the HBP area. Everyday there will have a lot of students standing or sitting there waiting for bus.The first picture is edited from the real one(second picture).This is because i have no any basic in drawing,so i have to use other way to help me done my assignment .

This is a tree near HBP area also,and I draw this as a natural sources . Same as the man-made structure,i have edited the picture first before i draw . I found that it would not help me a lot for this natural sources, not like the picture before.It is because that some part of the tree is very difficult to draw especailly the trunk.Besides that,some part of the leaf is darker and some part are lighter due to the sunlight .No matter what, i have try my best to complete this task and I am not expecting I will get very high score. >.<
